Geraldine M. “Jerry” Gollnick Walters

GERALDINE "JERRY" M. WALTERS, 96, passed away Saturday, March 18, 2017 in Fort Wayne. Born in South Bend, Ind., she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Norene Gollnick. Jerry worked at Lincoln National Life for 13 years. She was a member of Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Soest.

Surviving are her son, James (Sue) Marker; and daughter, Terry Putman, both of Fort Wayne; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. Jerry was also preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Walters, and sister, Evelyn Gollnick.

Service is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at D. O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Rd., with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at the funeral home. Entombment in Covington Memorial Gardens
