Elva L. (Warner) Phillips

Elva L. Phillips, 63, of 14151 Eureka Ave., died at 11:07 p.m. Tuesday in Osteopathic Hospital, South Bend, after an illness.

Mrs. Phillips was born Oct. 16, 1920, in Three Rivers, and lived in Mishawaka for 25 years, coming from New Carlisle.

On Jan. 17, 1942, as Elva Warner, she married Marvin Phillips, who survives. Also surviving are three sons, Garald of Benton Harbor, Michael of Elkhart and Terry of Mishawaka; nine grandchildren; and three sisters, Eva Berkely of Lake Charles, La., Charlene Beck of Panaca, Nev., and Elaine Obenour of South Bend.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the H.C. Amen and Son Funeral Home, New Carlisle. Burial will be in New Carlisle Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today in the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Cedar Road Missionary Church. Elva L. Phillips
