Virginia (Bariger) Hunsberger

Virginia Hunsberger, 69, of 229 Guam Ave., died at 7:28 a.m. Monday in the emergency room of St. Joseph Hospital after an illness. She had retired from CTS Corp., Elkhart, after 28 years of service.

She was born March 11, 1919, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident.

As Virginia Bariger, she married Omar D. Hunsberger on Feb. 1, 1941, in Crawfordsville, Ind. He survives with three sisters, Margaret Shearer of Elkhart, Irene Arbogast of Union and Rosemarie Blount of Mishawaka; and a brother, John Bariger of South Bend.

Services will be at 8 a.m. Wednesday in St. Bavo's Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park. Friends may call from 2 to 4 a and 7 to 9 p.m. today in Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home, where a wake will be conducted at 7:30 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to National Kidney Foundation of Indiana.

Mrs. Hunsberger was a member of the church, Ladies Sodality at St. Bavo's, CTS Century Club and St. Joseph Hospital Auxiliary
