Clifford Alexander Pappas

SOUTH BEND - Clifford Alexander Pappas, 75, of Birmingham, Ala., formerly of Notre Dame Avenue, died Sunday in Birmingham after an illness. Mr. Pappas retired from the manufacturing industry. He was born Feb. 9, 1919, in Pennsylvania.

He is survived by a son, Nathan W. of Birmingham; two sisters, Rosie Kimble of Chicago and Sally Morris of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; and a niece and nephew, Rae Ann McBain Clark and Larry Clark of Buchanan.

He was a veteran of World War II.

Private services will be held. Burial will be in Southlawn Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Halbritter Funeral Home, Niles, is in charge of arrangements.
