Jack D. Isenbarger

SOUTH BEND - Jack D. Isenbarger. 73, of 18462 Cleveland Road, died about 9 a.m. Friday in his home. From 1940 to 1942, he was a science teacher and basketball coach, before entering the Navy during World War II. In 1971, he retired as office manager for Unroyal, where he was emploved 25 vears.

He was born Feb. 2. 1918, in North Manchester, Ind., but spent most of his life in this area.

On April 4, 1942, in South Bend, he married Evelyn Rarick. She survives with a daughter, Karen Bradway of Munising, Mich.; two grandchildren; a sister, Mildred McCombs of Indian Lake, Mich.; and two brothers, Ted of Pinehurst, N.C., and Ray of North Carolina. He was a member of Prince of Peace Church of the Brethren, Mishawaka Fraternal Order of Eagles, Unroyal Foreman's Club and Mishawaka American Legion.

He was a former member of Four Lakes Country Club. He was a 1940 graduate of Manchester College.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Welsheimer Funeral Home North, 17033 Cleveland Road. Burial will be In Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
