Edwin Keith Jones

Edwin Keith Jones, 64, of 19615 Palisades, died at 5:40 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. He had been employed by South Bend Tool and Die since 1939, where he was an instructor in the apprentice program.

Born on March 23, 1917, in Kalamazoo, he had lived in South Bend for 60 years.

On May 3, 1941, in Fort Wayne, he married the former, Elaine Rankin. She survives, along with his mother, Mrs. Annie Jones of Cadiz, Ky.; a daughter, Mrs. Jacqueline Yuhasz of South Bend; a son, Maurice of South Bend; six grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Naomi Gregory of Dowagiac and Mrs.

Margaret Coil of Cadiz. Friends may call from 2. to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Welsheimer North Chapel, 52803 U.S. Hwy.
