Vennice E. (Meyer) Potts

NILES — Vennice E. Potts, 89, of Niles, MI, passed away at 9:55 p.m. Tuesday, March 27, 2007, in Gilead Elder Care, Berrien Springs, MI. Vennice was born on April 29, 1917, in Elgin, IL, to Edward and Marion (Huske) Meyer.

As Vennice E. Meyer, she married William E. Potts. William preceded her in death on September 2, 1999.

Vennice is survived by a daughter, Patricia Potts of Niles, MI; a son, Paul (Marilyn) Potts of Cassopolis, MI; and a grandson, Rick Johns of Eau Claire, MI.

Vennice worked in the banking industry in record-keeping, and was a member of the Humane Society and the V.F.W. Post #360 Women’s Auxiliary.

Family and friends may call on Friday from 2 until 4 and 6 until 8 p.m. in the Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka, where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Ervin Mize officiating the services, and with burial to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, IN.
