John Edward Trowbridge

CWO-4 John Edward Trowbridge, 53, USMC Ret., died Thursday at Naval Hospital, Camp Lejeune. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Camp Lejeune Protestant Chapel. Chaplain William Fuller will officiate. Burial with military honors will be at 1 p.m. at the Wilmington National Cemetery.

Surviving: his wife, Dorothy Kuntz Trowbridge; two daughters, Mrs. John Gagen of Germany and Miss Susan Trowbridge of the home; one son, John Edward Trowbridge, Jr. of the home; two sisters, Martha (Robert) Finn of South Bend, Ind., and Marian Harwood of Arizona; four brothers, James of Rockford, Ill., Richard, Donald and Walter all of South Bend, Ind., and two grandchildren.

Remembrances are requested to be made to the Heart Fund or the Navy Relief Association.
