Victor Eli Paxson Jr.

Victor E. Paxson Jr., 52, of 1225 Edgewood Dr., died at 8 p.m. Saturday in Healthwin Hospital after an illness of several weeks. He had been employed at the Indiana and Michigan Electric Co. Twin Branch plant.

He was born Sept. 2, 1917, in South Bend and lived here all his life. He married July 19, 1945, in South Bend to Maxine Parish, who survives, along with a son, Victor E. III, of Mishawaka; and a daughter, Mrs. Cynthia Bingaman, of Muncie; two sisters, Mrs. Roland J. Haney; of South Bend and Mrs. Norbert Noecker, of Allegan, Mich.

Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in the Welsheimer Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday. Marvin Anderson, former reader of the First Church of Christ, Scientist will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.

Mr. Paxson was a veteran of the Army in World War II.
