Dr. Stephen B. Kelley

SOUTH BEND - Dr. Stephen B. Kelley, 58, of Somerset, Ky., formerly of South Bend, died Monday in his home. The death has been ruled a suicide by Pulaski County (Ky.) Coroner Alan Stringer. Dr. Kelley was in medical practice for 32 years. He was born March 8, 1936, in Wellston, Ohio.
On Sept. 2, 1961, in Cincinnati, he married Sharon Louise Benedict. She survives with three daughters, Lori K. Childs of Lexington, Ky., Deborah K. Hardee of Columbia, Tenn., and Karen K. Roark of Richmond, Ky.; a son, Stephen B. Jr. of Somerset; four grandchildren; his mother. Natalie Bennett Kelley of Somerset; and a brother, Rev. Haven C. Jr. of South Bend.
He was a graduate of Clay High School, Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and Ohio State School of Medicine.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in First United Methodist Somerset, Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens, Somerset. Pulaski Funeral Home, Somerset, is in charge of arrangements.
