Karen Sue “Susie” (Kubsch) Laros

Karen “Susie” Kubsch Laros, 70, of Mishawaka, IN passed away peacefully Tuesday May 29, 2018 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center.

Karen was born April 29, 1948 to the late John Kubsch Sr., and Helen (Grabarz) Kubsch in South Bend, IN. She attended Stuckey Elementary and Washington Clay High School.

Karen is survived by her daughters, Laurell Morrow of Mishawaka, Tera (Jesse) Flory of South Bend and her son Michael (Amy) O’Banion of Mishawaka. She is also survived by two sisters, Sharon (Roy) Leedy of Elkhart, IN., Pamela (Don) of Niles, MI., and two brothers Larry Kubsch of South Bend and David (Sue) Kubsch of Granger, IN. Karen had nine grandchildren, Zach Butler, Kaeleb Morrow, John Zukowski, Jeremy Zukowski, Janette Zukowski, Amber Morrow, Stormy O’Banion, Miracle Flory and Jesse Flory.

She also had six great grandchildren. All who loved her dearly. Karen is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Karen was a caring and giving woman who would do anything for anyone if she could. She had a great sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. Karen was a diehard Notre Dame Football fan.

She loved to play bingo and frequently visited her favorite casino.

Karen is preceded in death by her father, John Kubsch Sr., her brother John Kubsch Jr., her son Randolph Morrow Jr., and her daughter, Susan (Marrow) Zukowski.

Memorial service will be held on Monday, June 4, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. with Chuck Wotring officiating the memorial service. A gathering will take place from 3:00 p.m. until service time at 5:00 p.m.
