Patricia "Pat" Ann (Lacher) Millslagle

September 16, 1939 ~ August 22, 2025 (age 85)

Patricia Ann Millslagle was born September 16, 1939 to Evelyn Virginia (Bucher) Lacher and Harry Lacher Jr. in South Bend, IN. She went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Friday, August 22, 2025.

On May 19, 1972, she married Charles Millslagle. She is survived by her best friend and husband, Charles, her son, Rex (Cathy) Brown Jr. of Granger, her daughter, Sheryl (Nick) Miller of White Pigeon, Stepdaughter, Tracy (Tom) McConnell of Muncie, and stepson, Charles (Brandi) Millslagle of Elkhart and the greatest joys of her life, her grandchildren; James (Melissa) Potter, Stephanie (Daniel) Zych, Amber (Derek) Neill, Ashley (Brock) Sheahan, Nicole (Brent) Dunaway, Morgan (Ryan) McKee, Michael (Krystal) McConnell, Scott (Brittni) McConnell, Addison and Declan Millslagle and great grandchildren, Jayden and Brady Marks, Xavier Neill, Neven and Maksim Zych, Beau and Evelyn Sheahan, Hudson, Graham and Ellery Ann Dunaway, Owen and Sutton McConnell, Olivia Grace McConnell, Leah, Griffin and Gage Mckee. Also surviving is her sister, Vera Houghton of Glen Allen, VA.

She is preceded in death by her parents and two daughters, Pamela Hahaj and Teri Potter and her brother, Harry Lacher.

Patricia graduated with a GED from Washington Clay High School. She worked at various retail stores and retired from GTE after 16 years in 1991 as a business account representative and became a caregiver for her Aunt Pauline.

She was a member of California Road Missionary Church, serving in the nursery, 2’s & 3’s Sunday School class and a Deaconess. She loved her Adult Sunday School class, The Faithful Finishers, and was dedicated to prayer.

She also enjoyed traveling and seeing all the beauty God created in this world and looked forward to heaven and a new body.

Patricia was an animal lover and was a caring Christian woman. Her family will greatly miss her.

Special thanks go out to the staff at Center for Hospice Care in Elkhart for their loving support during a difficult time.

A Visitation for Patricia will be held from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, IN 46514.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, August 28, 2025 at California Road Missionary Baptist Church, 29765 County Road 12, Elkhart,  IN 46514 with Rev. Shayne Looper officiating. A visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the start of service from 10:00am to 11:00am at the church.

Burial will follow after the service at California Road Cemetery.
