In Memory

Douglas William Falsetti
LOVELAND, Ohio
June 5, 1960 - May 18, 2024
On Saturday, May 17, at 4:51 PM we said goodbye to brother, son, uncle, friend, father of many guitars, and all-around wonderful guy, Douglas “Doug” William Falsetti after a short battle with cancer. Doug was born on June 5, 1960, in Detroit, Michigan to Joe Falsetti and Patricia Falsetti (Keating) and started his life journey. And what a life it was.
He had a warm and genuine personality that everyone was drawn to. His quick wit and incredible knowledge always guaranteed an entertaining conversation and amazing stories of his travels. He followed his life-long passion for music and was able to live the life of a rock star. Doug lived the life that many of us dream of and made many friends along the way.
“Uncle Doug” is survived by brothers Mike Falsetti and Marc Falsetti, and his beloved family in Cincinnati (Glenn, Denise, Morgan, and Brooke Van Valkenburgh; Mike, Elizabeth, Megan, Briton, and Emily Wess (and our newest addition Josie May — born the day after Doug passed); Katheryn and Richard Strain) and his children (his guitars).
There will be no official service (per Doug’s request), but he encourages everyone to celebrate his life in their own special way. Raise a glass, share a story, and toast the life he lived.
“Hello, I must be going. I cannot stay, I came to say, ‘I must be going.’ I'm glad I came but just the same I must be going… I’ll stay a week or two, I’ll stay the summer through, but I am telling you, I must be going.” — Groucho Marx
