KALAMAZOO - Terri L. (Cantwell) Weaver, died May 27, 2008, in her home with her family at her side.
Terri was born January 1, 1955, in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Todd and Jeanette (Kaaisteker) Cantwell.
She graduated from South Bend High School in 1973. Terri enjoyed spending time with her family, loved to cook and bake and was always around animals. Her true passion was showing AKC Golden Retrievers. Terri was member of the Golden Retriever Club of America and in the early 80's; she and her husband Greg founded Derspinna Kennels.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, John and Trena Kaaisteker; and her father, Todd Cantwell.
On June 25, 1977, she was united in marriage with Greg Weaver, who survives. Also surviving are three children: Whitney Weaver, Gregory Weaver and Jessica (Steve) Westbrooks all of Kalamazoo; her mother, Jan (Bill) Stanwyck of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, her step-mother, Judy Cantwell of South Bend, IN, one sister-in-law, Connie of East Tawas, MI and three nieces.
Cremation will take place. Friends will be received Wednesday June 4, 2008, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. in Calvary Reformed Church, where a service to honor her life will begin at 11:30 a.m., with Rev. Greg VanHeukeolm, officiating.
Following the service, food and fellowship will be shared in the church hall.
