James W. McCallister

CHALMERS- James W. McCallister, 34, former Chalmers resident, died Tuesday, Jan 5, 1954, in St. Joseph hospital, South Bend. He moved to South Bend 29 years ago and was employed by the George Burnett Co. He was a veteran of World war II and was married in 1943 to Betty Lois Anderson.

Surviving besides his widow are a son, Barry; his mother, Mrs. Rhoda McCallister, of South Bend; three sisters, Mrs. John Miller, Mrs. Edward Simpson and Mrs. Ted Banacka, all of South Bend, and two brothers, Fred, of South Bend, and Paul, of St. Louis, Mo.

Services and burial will be at South Bend.
