Sheila Ann Mazingo
June 13, 1959 — October 5, 2024
Sheila Mazingo, 65, of Niles, died peacefully October 5, 2024 in the comfort of her family's presence.
Her life began June 13, 1959 in South Bend, Indiana, the second of three children, born to Allen and Alice Pratt.
Sheila retired from Innovative Products in Niles, June of 2024. She belonged to a pool team named "Chaos" where she met many friends, she also was a member two four-wheel drive clubs. Sheila was a big University of Michigan fan, keeping track of every win and loss. One of her fondest memories was working on cars with her dad. Sheila was outgoing and enjoyed being with people especially her grandchildren.
Sheila will be greatly missed by family and friends. She is survived by four sons, Lanty Jones of South Bend, Dwayne Jones of South Bend, Larry (Amy) Mazingo, Matthew Mazingo; eleven grandchildren, Chase, Christian Mazingo, Asher, Danielle, Michael, Corbin, Corey, Christian Jones, Joey, Zoie, Haleigh; one great grandson, Desmond, one great granddaughter, Madelynn; one brother, Michael Pratt of South Bend; her mother Alice Pratt; her Uncle Abe Hargraves; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father Allen Pratt in 2011 and her brother Rick Pratt in 2014.
Family and friends will gather Friday, October 11, 2024, 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 12:00 noon, in Halbritter Wickens Funeral Services 615 East Main Street, Niles. She will be laid to rest in Silverbrook Cemetery.
