Jeffrey E. Rudasics, 64, of Granger, died peacefully January 12, 2023, in the care of hospice after a three year battle with cancer. Jeff was born January 6, 1959, to James and Betty Rudasics, both who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death is a sister, Hon. Mary Rudasics Harper (Hon. David L. Chidester). Surviving are Randall J. (Kathie) Rudasics of Steamboat Springs, CO, Thomas J. Rudasics of Hilton Head, SC and nephew James E. Harper of Valparaiso, IN.

Jeff, or Rudy to those who knew him, graduated from Clay High School in 1977 where he was a member of the baseball team. Jeff graduated from Huntington College where he also played baseball. He also was of member of the 1977 Post 50 National Championship team. Baseball was always a big part of his life and he was a lifelong fan of the Minnesota Twins.

Jeff worked at Michiana Personnel and was part owner in Star Staffing Services until it was sold in 2005.

Jeff was a huge man of faith and leaves behind many lifelong friends who will miss him dearly. He had a wonderful sense of humor and could always make those around him smile. As a lover of pets Jeff adopted several dogs from the shelter over the years.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 18 th, from 12:00 to 1 pm at Trinity Church 61770 Miami Road in South Bend, IN. Funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm. Entombment to follow at St Joe Valley Memorial Park.
