Betty Jackmovich Obituary
Betty Ruth Jackmovich, 63, of Green Mountain Falls died of heart failure October 20th, 2018, in Cripple Creek Colorado. Betty was born to Joseph J. Jackmovich and Wanda (Shirrey) Jackmovich on February 27th, 1955 in Key West Florida. After her father completed his term of service with the Navy, Betty, her older brother Joe, and her father, moved to South Bend Indiana where she attended Christ the King grade school and then on to Clay High School graduating in 1973.
After High School Betty joined her older brother Joe in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, where she resided for several years working as a waitress and eventually a Bar Tender. In 1975 Betty moved to Kendall, Florida, just outside of Miami. She continued working as both a waitress and bartender until she moved to the Colorado Springs area in the late 70s where she continued to work as a bartender and waitress for many years.
Betty is survived by her older brother Joseph (Joe) J. Jackmovich, of rural Rapid City, South Dakota. She was preceded in death by her father and her mother.
A memorial service will be conducted Halloween Night in Green Mountain Falls, Colorado.
