Sharon (Irish) Bunde

Sharon Bunde passed away on September 15, 2024, surrounded by her loving family at the age of 81. Sharon was born September 10, 1943, in South Bend, Indiana, as the daughter of Wayne and Violet (Cheh) Irish.

Sharon worked at Gilbert’s Dept. Store, Goldblatt’s Dept. Store, County Market, Toys “R” Us, Patnaude Photo Studio, St. Mary’s College, and Bob Evans. Sharon’s love of family and friends, expressed gratitude for her life full of fun, and real joy at the casino. She loved to decorate the house. She will be remembered for her strength, resilience, and warmth.

Sharon is survived by her devoted husband, Edmund Bunde. They enjoyed 59 years together filled with love. She is also survived by her two children: David Bunde and Donna (Ryan) Schau. Sharon is a beloved grandma to four grandchildren: Steven Bunde, Kayla Bunde, Brenten Bunde-Schau, and Dayan Schau. She is preceded in death by her sisters Vivian Ream and Gail Kebb.
