Indianapolis - Patrick Matthew Mack, 56, passed away peacefully on Monday with his family by his side.

Patrick was born August 16, 1964 in Indianapolis to James and Karen (O'Hearn) Mack. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister-in-law, Nancy Mack. Left to cherish Patrick’s memory are his son, Jacob Mack and Jacob’s mother, Sharla Fults; siblings, Anita (Matthew) Hunckler, John (Marie) Mack, Maria (Paul) Coglianese, Tom (Mary Beth) Mack, Joe Mack, Monica Mack, David (Ruth) Mack, Teresa (Bruce) Jackson, and Brian (Megan) Mack; and many nieces, nephews and other dear family members.

Patrick was a savvy entrepreneur who was highly passionate about art, technology, and the creating processes involved. He was a well-established, talented metal & wood sculptor, and photographer. Patrick earned an Associate degree in Commercial Photography, Art & Design in 1985 from Portfolio Center of Atlanta, GA then a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1992 from Indiana University of Bloomington, IN. He was the Founder and Principle Owner of “Creations by Pat Mack” and worked with architects, designers, and builders for over 25 years. He designed commissioned site-specific artworks, specialized in all metals, developed new artistic techniques, and also created wax, wood & concrete sculptures. Pat’s creations were shown at numerous exhibitions & shows, posted in newspaper & catalog reviews, and won numerous awards. Patrick loved nature and being outdoors, especially hiking with his son. He loved teaching and talking to Jacob about life and work ethics. Patrick felt his most incredible masterpiece in life was Jacob.

Visitation will be held from 3:00PM to 7:00PM, Friday, June 18, 2021 with a rosary prayed at 6:00PM in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30AM at Christ the King Catholic Church on Saturday, June 19, 25021. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
