Robert D. Martin III

 Robert D. "Robby" Martin III, 19, of Granger, died Sunday morning, Oct. 23, as the result of an auto accident.

He was born May 23, 1986, in Mishawaka, and is survived by his loving parents, Robert D. (Cathy) Martin Jr. and Debra Rosenwasser (Mark Kamm) Martin. Also surviving to cherish his memory are his brother, Chase Martin of Granger; his paternal grandparents, Robert and Carole Martin of South Bend; aunts, Amy Rosenwasser (James Christopher) of Chicago, Linda Giemza (Glenn) of Oak Creek, Wis.; uncles, Jonathan Rosenwasser of Boston and Daniel Rosenwasser (Lisa) of Los Angeles; and six cousins. Robby had a special grandma Ida Wigfall of South Bend; and special friend, Chelsea Egierski of Granger.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Dorothy and Jacob Rosenwasser.

Robby graduated from Clay High School in 2004, and played football and baseball while in school. After his graduation, he enrolled at IUSB in South Bend.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 27, in the Welsheimer Family Funeral Home North, 17033 Cleveland Road, and burial will follow at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park. Friends may call from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. today. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Robby's memory may be made to any charity of the donor's choice
