Richard Wilson Miller

June 4, 1931    ~    April 7, 2025

Richard W. Miller, beloved husband and father, passed away peacefully on April 7, 2025, in Elkhart, Indiana, at the age of 93. Born on June 4, 1931, in Avon, Ohio, he was the son of Richard Miller and May Elizabeth Jameson Miller.

Richard spent his early years in Roseland, attending Ullery School and graduating from Clay High School. As a young adult he lived in the South Bend area, where he met the love of his life, Angeline V. Perry. The couple married on March 23, 1951.

In pursuit of his passion for the great outdoors, Richard moved with his family to Florida, where he dedicated his career to serving in the Florida State Park system as a park manager. His commitment to preserving the beauty of nature and providing memorable experiences for visitors was a testament to his character and love for the environment.

Richard is survived by his devoted wife, Angeline, and their three children: Kathryn Barker (James), Susan Wilson (Ronald) and Rick Miller (Anya). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
