Michele Andreae (Moore)

Michele Moore

May 25, 1957 ~ October 21, 2024 (age 67)

Michele "shelly" Andreae Moore was born on May 25, 1957, and passed on Oct 21st, 2024, with her daughter by her side.  Born and raised in South Bend, IN.  Graduated from Clay High School and then became a mother to her one and only daughter, Jennifer Desimone.

As Shelly tenaciously went through life, she was blessed to have found the love of her life Terry Moore, who preceded her in death in August of 2021.  They married and moved to Granger to establish a home and settle into early retirement from Bendix.  She and Terry found great enjoyment in traveling to Florida and eventually became regular snowbirds.  So many fond memories of their "oasis" in Punta Gorda, Florida.  They befriended so many wonderful people and had the best life and friends.  While returning to Granger Shelly and Terry loved spending time with friends and family in the backyard pool.  Where you could always find her with a smile, swimsuit, Neil Diamond on the radio and a cocktail in her hand.

Shelly lived her everyday life with constant love and affection for her family.  Becoming a grandma was one of her proudest moments.  Being a "Nana" to Mikayla and Cayden brought her so much pride and joy.

While Shelly had illnesses and challenges with health she consistently fought with grace and never lived a day not knowing that life was precious and gave every ounce of her soul to fight the fight.  Ultimately her body grew tired, and God took her to be with her beloved husband.  Though we will miss her dearly, she will live on through our wonderful memories and laughter.  Her smile will forever be in our hearts as she lit up the room!

Surviving Michele is her daughter Jennifer Desimone (Marc-her favorite son-in-law) and her mother Dottie Andreae. Her grandchildren Mikayla Pendill and Cayden Desimone Brother Thom (Lisa) Andreae and their two children Emily and Chase Andreae, Her two stepsons Joe and Brian Moore.  Extended family, her dearest and lifelong friends Joe and Dianne Nyerges.  Her "adopted "children Angela Loftus and Jay Rohr.  So many wonderful nurses and staff at several hospitals for her wonderful care.

According to Michele's wishes, a cremation will take place, with Hahn Funeral Home handling the final arrangements. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
