Shelley, Robert "Rob" Lawrence 5/8/1956 - 12/26/2016 Robert "Rob" Lawrence Shelley: Born 05/08/1956 in Mishawaka, Indiana passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family and friends on Monday 12/26/2016 at 7:45PM. Rob was born to the late Robert Dale Shelley and Mary Blanche Smith both of Arkansas.

Rob enjoyed good food, music, and sports. He was particularly fond of Notre Dame Football in spite of living in the Ann Arbor area most of his life. But his greatest passion was helping others. This passion lead him to a new career. After being a member for some time, he managed the Washtenaw Alano Club for the last several years of his life and was able to positively influence the lives of many, many people. His faith in God and His Sovereignty gave him the strength to endure his struggle with Cancer.

He is survived by his Stepmother Lettie Lou Shelley of Granger, IN, stepson, Jason Brown of Ann Arbor, MI, and 7 brothers and sisters.

There will be a Memorial service at The Washtenaw Alano Club, 995 N Maple Rd, Ann Arbor, MI 48103 Saturday January 7, 2017 @ 4:00 pm with a dinner to follow. There will be no interment (burial).
