Rebecca “Becky” Sue Johnson (Barrier)

Rebecca “Becky” Sue Johnson (Barrier), age 69, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 24, 2021. She was born on April 2, 1952 in South Bend, IN, to the late Roy and Daisy Barrier. Becky married Robert “Bob” O. Johnson on May 2, 1981, in Mishawaka, IN.

Becky worked as a quality manager for a local machining manufacturer. She truly lived life to the fullest. She was an amazing cook. She loved animals, and anyone that met her, was a friend. Becky was loved by all.

Becky is survived by her husband, Bob, of 40 years; two sons, Chris (Michelle) Schildknecht and Robert (Kelly) Johnson, Jr.; a daughter, Theresa “TJ” (Scott) Millaway; sister, Phyllis Owens; brother, Richard (Nancy) Barrier; seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Becky was preceded in death by two brothers, David Barrier and Ed Barrier, as well as one sister, Alice Rietveld (Warren).

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Palmer Funeral Home—Hickey Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
