Donald L. McClure, age 59, passed away on Monday, November 19, 2018 at his residence. Donald was born on February 17, 1959 in South Bend, IN, to Donald G. and Norma Jean (Wortinger) McClure.

In addition to his father, Donald is survived by sister, Diana L. (Danny) Guy of Las Cruces, NM; brother, Phillip D. (Chris) McClure of South Bend; and a host of nieces and nephews. Donald was preceded in death by his mother.

A resident of South Bend, Donald was self-employed as a computer tech. He built and maintained computers and also was an avid woodworker. He had a love for all animals and was a very caring and giving person. Donald had a huge heart, always helping people in need. In his younger years, he liked to travel, where he fell in love with New Mexico and lived there for a few years.

The family will gather privately at a later date to commemorate the life of Donald. In the spring of 2019, burial of ashes will take place at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park in Granger, IN. Palmer Funeral Home-Hickey Chapel and Southlawn Cremation Services have been entrusted with arrangements for the family.
