MISHAWAKA - Timothy Michael Barnes, 51, of Jacksonville, NC, formerly of Mishawaka and South Bend, passed away on Friday, April 6, in his home. Timothy was born on March 10, 1961, in South Bend, to Gerald F. and Geneva "Jean" (Tiedge) Barnes.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald.

Surviving are his mother, Jean of Mishawaka; brothers, James (Kathy) Barnes of Phoenix, AZ, and Jerry Barnes of Mishawaka; aunts, uncles and nieces and nephews.

Timothy worked for Snead's Ferry Gas Co. for the past 20 years. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps where he was with the Navy Corps. He graduated from Clay High School.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 5, in St. Pius X Catholic Church, Granger, with Monsignor William Schooler officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior in the church. Interment will be at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Pius X Catholic Church, 52553 Fir Road, Granger, IN 46530.
