Kathryn Ann Wenke

Kathryn A. Wenke, 38, of South Bend, Ind., passed away on the morning of Sunday, Sept. 5, in Memorial Hospital.
Kathryn was a graduate of Clay High School in 1979. She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church in South Bend, and was a teacher at the Logan Center. Kathryn was also very active in the Special Olympics.
On Oct. 8, 1983, as Kathryn Miller, she married James A. Wenke in South Bend. Kathryn is survived by her husband, James; her parents, James and Carol Miller of South Bend; a twin sister, Linda (Tony) Vaske of San Antonio, Texas; two brothers, David (Louise) Miller of Niles, Mich., and Joseph (Doreen) Miller of South Bend. She is also survived by her maternal grandmother, Dorothy Meyerhoefer of Mishawaka, Ind.
Her family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Sept. 7, in the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka.
A memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 8, at Christ the King Catholic Church in South Bend.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Logan Center or to the charity of donor's choice.
