Mary Grace McCaw

SOUTH BEND - Services for Mary Grace (Van Kempen) McCaw, 65, of 1359 Mishawaka Ave., who died at 2 a.m. Wednesday in her home after an illness, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Christ the King Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in Welsheimer Funeral Home North, 17033 Cleveland Road, where a rosary will be said at 7 p.m., and one hour before services on Saturday in the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the church or American Diabetes Association.
Mrs. McCaw retired in 1979 the Associates Investment Corp. after 22 years of service. She was born May 12, 1929, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident. On May 16, 1981, she married R. Scott McCaw. He survives with two daughters, Linda Fleese and Kathryn A. Belich, both of South Bend; a son, Rev. Robert A. Van Kempen of Fort Wayne; two stepdaughters, Shirley A. Guilford of Cassopolis and Linda S. Watkins of South Bend; five grandchildren; and a sister, Martha L. Vandygriff of Plymouth. She was a member of the church.
