Robert B.Edholm, 42, of South Locust Road, South Bend, Ind., passed away at 4:12 p.m.Friday, Feb.27, in Community Hospital East in Indianapolis, Ind., after a courageous battle with cancer. Robert was born on Nov. 27, 1961, in South Bend, and was a lifetime resident of the Michiana area.

On March 16, 1985, in South Bend, he married the former Andrea Lynn Boocher, who survives, along with his three loving children, Alexandra N., Brianna N.and Joshua Robert Edholm, all at home;his parents, Sidney Edholm Jr.and Linda C.(Heinz) Edholm of Rome City, Ind.;a sister, Debbie L. (Pete) Lestinsky of Rolling Prairie, Ind.;and three brothers, Sidney A. (Kelly) Edholm, serving in the U.S. Air Force in Belgium, Kenneth R. (Donna) Edholm of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Gary S.(Tabbitha) Edholm of Athens, Ga. Bob is also survived by his in- laws, Elmer and Margaret Boocher of South Bend, two brothers-in- law, Gerard (Susan) Boocher and Wayne (Lisa) Boocher, both of South Bend, and nine nieces, seven nephews, and one great- nephew who adored him.

Bob was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Nora Helen Heinz, his paternal grandparents, Sidney and Francis Edholm, his nephew, Blake Edholm, and his niece, Sydney Boocher.

At the time of his illness, Bob was employed by Smurfit-Stone Corporation in Elkhart, Ind.He was a supervisor with the compa- ny.Bob was a graduate of Clay High School class of 1981. If you knew Bob, you couldn’t help but love him, he was a kind, generous and loving husband, father and son, and a devoted Christian.He loved to fish and golf, but most of all he loved to be with his children, his wife, and his family.He was a perfect husband, a loving father, son, brother, uncle and friend.He was the best of all of us, our hearts are breaking at the loss of Bob, but Heaven has received another angel. Bob, we love you now and forever, to the moon and back – always. Your loving wife, daughters Allie and Brianna, and son Joshua, and all the family.

Visitation hours will be from 2 to 8 p.m.Tuesday, March 2, in the Hanley & Sons “Southwest Chapel”Funeral Home, located at W est Ireland Road / Indiana 23, South Bend
