MICHAEL WOODHAM

March 21, 1963 - Dec. 28, 2008
SOUTH BEND - Michael "Woody" has been called home. Michael was born on March 21, 1963, to Mary Anne Wolter and Jerry Woodham, and had graduated from Clay High School in South Bend in 1981.

Michael is survived by his wife, Brenda of South Bend; and his daughters, Jessica (Michael) McCollum and Ashley Woodham, both of Hagerstown, MA. His mother, Mary Anne Scott (preceded in death); his stepfather, Paul E. Scott of South Bend; his father, Jerry Woodham (preceded in death); his sister, Jacqueline Woodham (preceded in death); his brother, Joseph Woodham (preceded in death); and his sister, Michele (Keith) VanLue of South Bend; and his nieces, Randi Woodham and Alyssa VanLue of South Bend.

His granddaughters Madison and Emily McCollum of Hagerstown, MA. As well as a host of dear friends and relations. Mike was a U.S. Navy veteran; he spent three years on the USS Guadalcanal. He was a Huge Notre Dame Fan. "GO IRISH" Mike was many things to many people: Husband, Son, Father, Brother, Uncle and Friend; his humor and wit will be greatly missed.

A visitation with the family will be held on January 10th at 10 a.m.; the memorial service will be at 11 a.m. in Calvary Baptist Church, 3001 Cleveland Road in South Bend. In lieu of flowers, the family would like to ask that a small contribution be made at Notre Dame Federal Credit Union into a savings account under the name Michele A. VanLue on behalf of Michael D. Woodham. This is to help the family with medical and funeral expenses.
