MISHAWAKA - Dorothy F. Gamble, 95, of Tanglewood Lane, Mishawaka, Indiana, passed away at her home on Tuesday, August, 2nd, 2016. She was born in Atwood, Illinois, on March 16th, 1921, to True and Nellie ( Kauble) Edmondson, who both preceded her in death. She was married to Kenneth F. Gamble in South Bend, Indiana, on September 16th, 1939. He died July 19, 2013. She was a mother, wife and farmer who loved to play the guitar and sing and did beautiful hand embroidery work. She was a member of the Harris Prairie Church of Christ and was a graduate of Clay City High School in 1938. She is survived by her children: Sharon (Joe) Fodrocy, Pat Fodrocy, Nancy Weaver, Mary (Dick) McDonough and Vicki Carpenter. Also surviving are a daughter-in-law, Cindy Gamble, and several nieces and nephews, along with twelve grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Daniel Gamble, along with her brothers and sisters: James G Edmondson, Willard W. Edmondson, Ralph L. Edmondson, Sarah L. Watler, Carrie J. Edmondson and Ethel E. Brown. Funeral services for Dorothy will be held at Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 North Main Street, Mishawaka, Indiana, on Friday, August 5th, 2016, at 11:00 am, where friends will be received from 4 until 8 pm on Thursday and one hour prior to the service on Friday. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, Indiana.
