Frederick M. Lamb

Frederick M. Lamb, 60, of 52610 Walsingham Lane, died at 6:15 a.m. today, Feb 10, 1988, in St. Joseph's Medical Center after an illness. Mr. Lamb was a chief engineer and worked in sales for 10 years at Huckins Tool & Die. He was born Feb. 22, 1927, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident.

On April 23, 1949, in South Bend, he married Barbara J. Gilmartin, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Karen L. Cline of South Bend and Sally J. Tochell of Michigan City; a son, Craig A., of Mishawaka; five grandchildren; and a brother, Douglas J., of Niles.

Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Welsheimer Funeral Home North, 17033 Cleveland Road, where a parish rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m.

Mr. Lamb was a member of Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks 235, American Turners and Christ the King Catholie Church. He was a veteran of World War II. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph County Cancer Society
