Floyd Charles Hubbard, age 89, of New Smyrna Beach, passed away on Wednesday, March 7, 2012.

Floyd and his wife Jeanne were married in South Bend, Indiana. They moved to Florida, living in Orlando for many years where they raised their children. The family attended the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church and Floyd worked for the Post Office where he retired approximately 27 years ago. After retiring, Floyd and Jeanne moved to Wildwood, FL then to Oxford, FL. They attended the Faith Presbyterian Church with the Pastor Chris Hardeman. They sadly left their many friends there but happily moved to New Smyrna Beach to be closer to their daughter. They attended Glencoe Baptist Church where they found love, fellowship and an extended family.

He is survived by his son, Jim Barry and his wife Linda with their children Daniel, Chris, Michelle, William and Luke with their spouses and eight great- grandchildren, his daughter Jean Crunkilton and her husband Richard with their children, Margaret, Richie, James, and Jonathan with their spouses and five great-grandchildren; his daughter Joanne McDevitt and her husband Terry; his daughter Jan Denelsbek and her husband Larry; his nephew Ron Smith and his wife Patty, his nephew Jerry Rust and his wife Linda, his nephew Wendell Rust and his wife Joyce. Floyd spread love, kindness and generosity to everyone that he met. If he met you, he would pray for you every day.

His memorial service will be 3:00pm Sunday, March 11th at Glencoe Baptist church with Pastor Barry Campbell officiating. Condolences may be sent to www.settlewilderfuneralhome.com.
