Paul Aloyious Montavon, III, 55, of Woodbridge, Va., died on Thursday morning, July 24.

He was born Sept. 30, 1947, in New York City, N.Y. He lived in Woodbridge for the last 18 years, coming from Mishawaka, Ind., where he had been a longtime resident and Clay High School graduate.

Survivors include his companion, Sally Verstreet; daughters, Carol Montavon-Bealor of Granger, Ind., Jacqueline Montavon of Mishawaka and Yvette Montavon of Newport News, Va.; sons, Paul Montavon IV of South Bend, Ind., and Nicholas Montavon of Mishawaka; his mother, Stella of Sarasota, Fla.; sisters, Mary of Carbondale, Ill., Michele of Boston, Mass., Elizabeth of Milwaukee, Wis., and Stephanie of Sarasota; brothers, William of Sarasota, Matthew of Rome, Italy, Anthony of Harrisonburg, Va., and John of Carrboro, N.C.; and three grandchildren, Izzy, Alexis and Lydia.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, Aug. 1, at 8 p.m. in the Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. prior to the service in the funeral home.
