Harold Eugene Webber

ELKHART - Harold E. Webber, 68, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 1, in his residence on Superior Street in Elkhart, Ind.
Mr. Webber was born on July 6, 1909, in Howard County, Ind., to Wyman and Loretta (Carter) Webber. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and by a son, Daniel Webber.
On Sept. 4, 1976, he married Laura Beatty, who survives.
He is also survived by a son, Steven Webber and his wife Peggy of Venus, Fla.; two stepsons, Elmer Foster and his wife, Mary Jane of Grand Island, Fla., and Greg VanPelt and his wife Sherry of North Webster, Ind.; a sister, Evelyn Warwick and her husband Paul of Miami, Ind.; three brothers, Archie Webber and his wife Jean of New Smyrna, Fla., Charles Webber and his wife Joan of South Bend, Ind., and James Webber and his wife Janice of Granger, Ind.; a grandson, Adam Webber; seven stepgrandchildren and nine great-step-grandchildren; as well as by several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Webber was the owner and operator of the Poly Clean Laundromat in Edwardsburg, Mich., until retiring in 1996.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 4, in the Chapel Hill Funeral Home, Osceola, Ind., and services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 5, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
