SOUTH BEND - Constance M. Scott, age 81, of South Bend, passed away Thursday, November 14, 2013 at Healthwin Specialized Care. Constance was born October 25, 1932 in South Bend, Indiana to the late Clifford and M. Bernice (Brown) Worthen.
On August 21, 1959, she married Glen Scott. He preceded her in death. Surviving is her brother, Charles (Connie) Worthen of South Bend, as well as her nieces, Michelle Worthen and Melissa (Eric) Ornat.
Constance was preceded in death by her nephew, Michael Lee Worthen.
Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the 2:00 pm funeral service on Monday, November 18, 2013 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Osceola. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Constance was employed for over 20 years at the "Really Poppin'" popcorn shop at the North Village Mall in South Bend. She loved to walk to work and back, greeting those she'd met along the way. She also spent time caring for her mother, and was helpful and giving towards others. Constance was also a longtime member of the Community Congregational Church in South Bend.
