Robert Eugene Crawford

Former South Bend resident, Robert E. “Bob” Crawford, 76, of Calera, AL passed away Sunday, August 30th. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pearl and Dale Crawford; and sisters, Katherine Sater, Thelma Russell and Joni Crawford.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Brenda; son, Brent Crawford (Krystyna); grandchildren, Christina, Anna, Megan, Will and Ashley Crawford; sister, Mary Jane Mock; and brothers, Harold Crawford (Alice), Walt Crawford (Glory), and Larry Crawford (Barb).
Bob attended Evangel Presbyterian Church in Alabaster, AL and was a member of Community Congregational Church, South Bend where he served as a Deacon. He loved his grandchildren and sports, especially Notre Dame football.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 4th in the Welsheimer Family Funeral Home North, 17033 Cleveland Rd. with Rev. Garry Fisher officiating. Committal services and burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, September 3rd in the funeral home.
