BRISTOL -- Donald Walter "Don" Krah, 67, of 16015 County Road 4, died at 4:42 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8, at home after an extended illness.

He was born Oct. 6, 1938, in Mishawaka, to Walter L.S. and Estelle (Wilborn) Krah. Mr. Krah and was preceded in death by both parents.

He married Lois A. Foust on June 2, 1962, in Mishawaka. She survives, along with a son, Steve Krah of Elkhart; a daughter, Lisa (Scott) Harmon of Bristol; a brother, Dennis (Mary Lou) Krah of Phoenix, Ariz.; and two grandchildren.

Friends may call three hours prior to a memorial service at 3 p.m. Saturday in the Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd., Elkhart. Keith Besson of the Goshen Church of Christ will officiate. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Oakridge Cemetery, S.R. 120, Bristol.

Mr. Krah was an elder at the Goshen Church of Christ. He was a long-time design innovator in the recreational vehicle industry. He began his RV career at Covered Wagon and went on to be part owner of Skamper, Sun-Lite and Shadow Cruiser. He enjoyed gardening and loved people.

He graduated from Washington Clay High School in South Bend in 1957, and attended Indiana University, South Bend for one year. He served two years of active duty in the U.S. Navy and was a navigator aboard the U.S.S. Lexington. He moved to Bristol from Mishawaka in 1978.
