Richard Leon Reppert

Richard L. Reppert, age 79, residing in Mishawaka, Indiana, He went home to meet his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at Golden Living-Fountainview Nursing Home. He was born on November 17, 1936 in South Bend to the late Donald and Lucille (Schrock) Reppert. On February 8, 1997 in Mishawaka he married the love of his life, Phyllis J. Huber. Richard retired from Notre Dame in 2000 after 23 ½ years of dedicated service. He was an athletic janitor and enjoyed watching every home game.
Richard leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Phyllis of Mishawaka, her son’s Ronald (Joy) Hively of South Bend and Richard (Judi) Peck, also surviving are two granddaughters and two great- grandsons; his brother Robert (Jean) Reppert of Mishawaka. Richard was preceded in death by Phyllis’s son Daniel Hively.
Friends may visit with family on Saturday, November 5, 2016 from 1:00pm- 3:00 pm at Palmer Funeral Home~ River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Avenue, South Bend. Where funeral services will be held at 3:00pm. Pastor Jon Ranous from Gospel Center Missionary Church will be officiating. Graveside services will be private at Southlawn Cemetery in South Bend.
