August Louis Bultinck, Jr., 82, of South Bend died at 11:38 p.m. Monday, November 5, 2012 in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka, IN. Mr. Bultinck was born June 4, 1930 in South Bend to the late Irma M. (Barrett) and August L. Bultinck and was a lifetime area resident. He is survivied by a sister, Clara Bultinck; nieces, Cathy Kull (Gary) and Patricia Klute (Mike) both of Niles, MI; and a nephew, Paul Bultinck (Lori) of Grandville, MI.
He was preceded in death by sisters, Geraldine "Jeri" Weikel and Ruth Ann Bultinck and brother, Paul Bultinck.
August was a graduate of Washington-Clay High School and a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a lifetime member of Christ the King Catholic Church and Harvest House. He thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors and was a passionate fan of Notre Dame football.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 8th. Committal services and burial will follow in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger, IN. The family will receive friends on Thursday in the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of mass. Welsheimer Family Funeral Home North is assisting the family with arrangements.
