James Aloysius Haney

Feb. 16, 1933 - Apr. 23, 2019

Passed away peacefully Tuesday April 23, 2019 at his home. James was born February 16, 1933 in South Bend, Indiana a son of Bernard and Ann (Nemeth) Haney.

He served with the U.S. Army from 1955-1957. He had been a Kalamazoo area resident most of his life and was employed with Parker Hannifin for 25 years, retiring in May of 1998.

James was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Judith A. (Marshall) Haney on August 31, 2001; a son, Robert E. Haney on April 21, 1995; a daughter-in-law, Julie M. Haney on November 26, 1989; and a grandson, Jay A. Winters on December 6, 2010. He is survived by 2 children, Michael Haney of Paw Paw and Laura (David) Linders of Schoolcraft; grandchildren, Jayme, Janice, Jackie (Sabrina) Haney, Zack and Josh Linders and Janay Winters; great-grandchildren, Kharter, Bruce and Julie; 2 brothers, Jerald Haney of California and Thomas Haney of Texas; his companion and dear friend, Grace Pullen of Paw Paw; and 3 nieces.

Services will be held 11 o'clock Saturday, May 4th at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St.

Visitation will be 4-7pm Friday.
