Kenneth R. Vandygriff, 80, of Shepherdsville returned to his Heavenly Father Friday, October 12, 2012 with his family by his side.
Mr. Vandygriff was a United States Army veteran who served in Korea. He retired from Dahlem Realty as an engineer, was a member of the Forest Stewardship Program and St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Shepherdsville.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Carol J. Vandygriff; and parents, Harvel and Hattie Vandygriff.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his sons, Daniel Vandygriff (Lisa) and Todd Vandygriff (fiancee Mandy); daughter, Bonnie Garbus (Rob); grandchildren, Chris, Alex and Aydin; brothers, James Vandygriff (Barbara) and Leon Vandygriff (Martha).
Burial in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central.

SOUTH BEND - Kenneth R. Vandygriff, 80, of Shepherdsville, KY, formerly of South Bend, graduated from Washington Clay High School.
Ken retired from Dahlem Reality as an engineer and was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Shepherdsville.
Preceding him was his wife, Carol (Abbiehl) Vandygriff (June 2012). Surviving are sons, Daniel & Todd; daughter, Bonnie Garbus; three grandsons; and brothers, James (Barbara Vandygriff & Leon (Martha) Vandygriff.
Burial in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery.
