John R. Burget

July 19, 1943 - Feb. 20, 2016

KUNA, ID - John R. Burget passed on to eternity peacefully at home on Saturday, February 20, 2016, after a long illness.

He was born to the late Einer and Wilma Burget on July 19, 1943, in South Bend, Indiana. John graduated from Washington Clay High School and served in the United States Air Force from 1964 to 1968. He relocated from Denver, CO, to Idaho in 1974 where he lived until his death.

Over the years, John worked for three computer service companies and retired from Micron after working there for 10 years. As a retiree, John became the man to repair neighbors' computers, equipment or vehicles. He was always willing to help. John had a wonderful sense of humor and quick wit. His kindness and caring will be sorely missed.

John was preceded in death by his brother, Keith Burget, and brother-in-law, John Gallagher. He is survived by his brother, James (Diane) Burget, sisters, Marilyn Burget, Jean Gallagher and Janet Frey, sister-in-law, Shari Trent Burget, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at the Kuna Senior Center, 229 N. Avenue A, Kuna, Idaho, on Saturday, March 5, 2016, at 10:00 AM.
