SOUTH BEND - Jonathan Henry Giloth, 40, who resided on Klinger Street, South Bend, Indiana, passed away at 1:21 p.m., Tuesday, April 17, 2012 in Memorial Hospital. Jonathan was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on October 16, 1971.

He graduated from Clay High School in 1990 and was a general laborer most of his life. Jonathan was a very good carpenter, electrician and mechanic. He loved basketball and was active in the community. In addition, Jonathan was a member of St. Augustine's Catholic Church where he worked with tutoring and mentoring for the African American Tutoring Program.

Jonathan is survived by his parents, King R. and Mary Lou (Hamill) Giloth-David of South Bend, IN; one sister, Laura (Larry) Chrisman of Osceola, IN; two brothers, Daniel (Sara) Giloth of Chicago, IL and Matthew (Kathy) Giloth of South Bend; an aunt, Joan (Tony) Trafecanty of Los Angeles, CA; four cousins, Anthony, Jean, Michael & John; two nephews, David & Lawson; four nieces, Danielle, Lindsey, Lydia & Shelby; along with a host of other relatives & friends.

Funeral services for Jonathan Giloth will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at Alford's Mortuary. Viewing will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, April 23, 2012 at Alford's Mortuary. Interment will follow in Southlawn Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Alford's Mortuary where messages of condolence may be emailed to alfordsmortuary@att.net, c/o The Giloth Family.
