Nathan O. Hall Jan. 23, 1996 - Apr. 16, 2014 SOUTH BEND - Nathan "Nate" Hall, 18, a very special young man, was taken home to heaven. He was blessed to come into this world on his grandfather's birthday, January 23, 1996, and his bittersweet departure came on his grandmother's birthday, April 16, 2014.

Nate was born to Charla Hall-Opfer. Nate is survived by his parents, Charla and Dave Opfer, grandmother, Sue Opfer, siblings, David Jr., Mathew, and Mandy (Cory Gizzi) Opfer, all of South Bend, IN, many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Nate was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Leona Hall, Richard Opfer and several aunts and uncles. Nate loved playing sports. He played sports for Clay High School, and also played baseball at Chet Wagner Little League. He was a member of Trinity's Student Ministry. His favorite team was the Miami Heat; his favorite basketball player was LeBron James. He was also a Notre Dame and Chicago Cubs fan.

Visitation for Nate will be held on Monday April 21, 2014 from 2-7 pm in Bubb Funeral Chapel 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka, IN. A funeral service will begin at 7 pm. Burial will be private at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens at a later date.
