Teri Lynn Hall Feb. 8, 1954 - June 2, 2015 SOUTH BEND - Teri Lynn (Wenke) Hall, 61, of South Bend, IN, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2015, in her home surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer. Teri was born February 8, 1954, in Petersburg, VA, to James and Jean (French) Wenke.

She grew up in South Bend, IN, graduating from Clay High School in 1972, and then earned her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Indiana University in elementary education. She was an elementary school teacher for 35 years in the New Prairie United School Corporation, serving Hudson Lake, Galena and Prairie View schools.

On November 20, 1976, she married Gregory M. Hall. They had four children. Kevin, Jennifer, Laura and Brian. She is survived by her husband, Greg, and three children, Jennifer (Hall) Scott, Laura (Hall) Fizer and Brian Hall. She was also survived by her parents, James R. and Jean Wenke of Granger, IN; two brothers, James A. Wenke of South Bend, IN, and Robert (Mary) Wenke of Muskego, WI; sons-in-law, Wesley Scott and Drew Fizer; three grandchildren, Tyler Scott, Alexia Copeland and Makenzie Scott; and step-granddaughter, Kamryn Fizer.

She was preceded in death by her son, Kevin Hall, on May 16, 1989, and mother- and father-in law, Keith and Phyllis Hall.

Teri had a very optimistic outlook on life. Most of her adulthood, Teri faced several health conditions, but still managed to keep a very positive attitude and live life to the fullest. Teri possessed an outpouring of unconditional love for everyone around her, especially her family, friends and animals. Teri had a heart of gold and was unbelievably strong and courageous. Teri was definitely one of a kind and could light up a room with her smile. She will be loved and missed by many.

Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, June 6, 2015, at the Palmer Funeral Home River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of services on Saturday. Graveside services will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
