Shasta Horston March 21, 1990 - Aug. 14, 2015 SOUTH BEND - Shasta Horston of South Bend, IN, passed away Friday, August 14, 2015, at home. Shasta, reared by her Aunt Jeanette Smith, was born March 21, 1990, in Benton Harbor, MI, to Eddie Blackamore and Jackqueline Horston.

Shasta graduated May 21, 2009, from Clay High School and graduated from Regency Cosmetology School April 25, 2015. She was employed by Fiesta Beauty Salon, South Bend, IN.

Shasta is survived by her mother, father, aunt and her son, Javion Waddel, her brothers, Bryan Patterson of Chicago, IL, Sir Patterson of South Bend, IN, Dondrell, Torey and Devonati Blackamore, all of Benton Harbor, MI, Jeffery Deloney, and her sister, LaDonna Jackson, both of Kalamazoo, MI, her grandmother, Lillie Blackmon of Benton Harbor, MI, along with special friends, aunts, uncles and a host of cousins.

Shasta was preceded in death by her grandparents, James and Adine Horston.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 22, 2015, at Kingdom Life Christian Cathedral Church, with viewing from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Alford's Mortuary. www.Alfordsmortuaryinc.com
