SOUTH BEND - Ms. Tina Marie Johnson passed away at home on Monday, January 2, 2012. Tina was born in South Bend, Indiana on August 9, 1967, to the union of Eric and Linda Johnson. She was 44 years old.

Tina loved to be around her family and friends. She loved singing, dancing and being a part-time comedian. She worked for Corvilla Inc. doing what she loved to do, which was taking care of others. She confessed her faith in Christ at an early age and was baptized at Greater Friendship Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Dave Davis. She graduated from Clay High School in 1986.

Those left to cherish her many memories are her parents, Eric and Linda Johnson; children, Marcus (Amber) Irby, Marquitta (Carlton Sr.) Irby, Maria (Walter) Johnson; fiancé, Willis Bedford; brothers, Gregory (Donna) Gill, Eric (Rose Young) Gill, Marcus Dudley; one sister, Iyana Simmons; grandchildren: Martravion Johnson, Marjavion Irby, Carlton Jr., Mariyah and Markiya Chick; nieces and nephews: Aaron and Eric Gill Jr., Kyrie and Antwann Gill, Da'shaia, Lamarria and Erica Young, Yorlin Gill, Damara Watkins, Gregory Dennard, Caleb Gill, Shavon Gill; special friends and loved ones: John Gill, Daniel Luten, Gloria Hampton, Lee and Lynn Gill, Portia Dudley (step-mom), Herman "Pappy" Robinson, Charles Dillard, Sarah Ward, and Ryce Davis; uncles and aunts: Joe Johnson, Vernice Marcum, Linda Jean Ezekwe, Mitchell Johnson, Ernestine Hernton, Wanda Irby, Carlton and Kathy Gill, Paul and Phyllis Gill.

She was preceded in death by: grandparents, Willie Gill Sr. and Maudie C. Gill, Willie Gill Jr., Marcus Irby Jr., Derrick Dudley, Vincent Dudley, Latoya Johnson, Susie Johnson, Derrick Johnson, Jack Gill, Lumis Gill, Cliffton Thomas and Georgia B. Johnson.

Funeral services for Tina Marie Johnson will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2012 in Clark-O'Neal Funeral Home Inc., 2702 Lincoln Way West.
