SOUTH BEND - Andrea Marie Pilger, 41, of South Bend, formerly of New Port Richey, Orlando and Flagler Beach, Florida, died Friday evening in her home. Andrea was born November 23, 1967, in South Bend. Her parents, Professor Richard C. Jr. and Patricia Louise (McAndrews) Pilger, survive along with a brother, Richard C. Pilger IV of Vienna, Virginia; a nephew, Michael Pilger; and two nieces, Sarah and Anna Pilger.

Andrea graduated from Clay High School, class of 1986, was a member of the Lakeville Conservation Club, and was an avid chef in the state of Florida.

She will be greatly missed by many friends including Larry and Mary Roper and their family, Sherri Taunton, and Andrea's pets, Sylvester, Taylor, Ebony and Patches.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 3rd, in St. Joseph Catholic Church, South Bend. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. today (Tuesday) in the HICKEY Funeral Home, 17131 Cleveland Road, and from 10:30 a.m. until services Wednesday in the church. Memorials may be made to the Lakeville Conservation Club, PO Box 275, Lakeville, IN 46536.
